I figured it out!

What a wonderful day the Lord has made!
I figured out how to blog on my IPhone! Watchout. I will be blogging all the time LOL!

Here is my picture of the day-

getting ready for cement!

I absolutely love building! So does my hubby- he has to be in the middle of it!

We had a frightening experiance last night when we figured out the boys plumbing pipes were in the wrong spot and it would have been disasterous! We thought we were going to have to postpone cement today! But never Fear my plumber is here! It's all ready to go and I am so excited! My mudding road will also be fixed- Praise God! Goodbye Mud Hole!

American Idol

I love to watch the American Idol Show!

I believe it is a Singing Contest but as the Title states - American Idol.... The Word Idol makes it so much more than just about singing!

I have already gotten myself into trouble about a comment I made about Adam Lambert! It was taken the wrong way!

But what I had feared back then and the point I was trying to make has Clearly come true on last nights 2009 Music Awards Show.

I did not watch it but from a talk show this morning, I heard about the performance. They said it was so bad that they could not show it on Day Time Television!

Curious me just HAD to watched it!

Though I did like his voice in certain songs - I rewound his performance on A I when he sang Mad World over and over again! The reason I felt I could not vote for him had nothing to do about his sexuality BUT everything to do with the example he would lead.

Walking half naked men on a leash on stage, shoving women's face into his crotch, making out with a man in a rough way and more. Never have I seen anything like this on TV!

He was upset that people were upset about how far her took his performance! He made the statement that it's unfair because female performers take it to the next level all the time! My words to Adam......They should not have acted inappropriate either! It's all the same! I was Ill watching the Britney/Madonna performance too!

This was way too far and repulsive! This is one reason I stopped watching MTV music Awards - I guess I will have to stop watching the regular ones too!

This is just MY opinion and It hit a nerve - A big one!

Update

Oh How I miss Blogging....even though I have a fan base of TWO! I still like to Blog...LOL
I intend to make a book out of it - like yours Celena ;)
I still do not have Internet - Due to living in the Sticks now - I have found out that there is NOT alot of Internet Options!

We have lived in the Homeshop for over a month now! I am Loving it! We just completed the unfinished stuff this weekend.....All walls are up, window in, curtains up, pictures hanging and the bare minimum in place! Very Cozy!

Right when we moved in it rained and then it rained and then it RAINED! This has been a big hurdle in our building process! In THREE months of the house being Sold....the only thing we have accomplished on building our new house is the house pad and spending alot of dough on the driveway. What a MESS! We thought we were going to get to start with the forms on Monday and guess what..... It RAINED! Our road is ruined yet again! But it's just apart of it! Thankfully, I am COMPLETELY content in the HomeShop!

Alot to look forward too! New Moon at midnight this Thursday! Durango Colorado Trip - we are leaving Christmas afternoon and returning the weekend after New Years! Can't wait to see the Boys roll around in the Snow! We already have our BIG Vaca planned for June! I promised the boys when we sold our house we would take a trip to San Diego and Los Angeles! For 10 Days we will go to Disneyland for 3 Days, Sea World, Universal Studios, San Diego Zoo and of course - The Beach! We are doing it ALL!

God is Good! God has Blessed! Just looking back over this year from the very difficult beginning til now......He provides! I am so Thankful for Now! I am Thankful that he is always there!

My Morning Thoughts

I think/pray alot on the way to work.....I have a long way to work ;)

Revelation 3:15-17 (New International Version)
15I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17You say, 'I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.' But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

Many Many Many times I can be called Lukewarm! It's like I am just here! I get frustrated with myself and other Christians! We are such selfish beings!

What should a Christian look like or act like?

It's more than warming the pew on a Sunday Morning!

Can people spot God in us by our actions, language and how we live?

Do we put God first in our everyday life or do we seek Him when there is an emergency? I call these people Emergency Christians!

Are we serving God or Ourselves?

Does "It's Inconvenient for me" get in the way?

Are we prepared with the Armor of God because we have spent time in the Bible learning more about him?

Personally, I want more out of my life then just going about my daily to do list, wandering through the maze of life for no reason at all! I want to be right in line with God's will for me!!!!

Jail #2

I want to share a little bit of my second journey of my Prison Ministry!

Sometimes I feel I get more out of it than the women do! How God Blesses us when we serve!

Last time we had SEVEN Volunteers - enough for 2 in each group AND I was the CO leader! THIS time - only THREE! What does that mean???? I actually had to lead by myself! I felt like Moses - "God - What are you thinking? I can't do this!"

On the way to jail we had about a 45 minute drive! Part of that we prayed! I really prayed for God to fill me with his Wisdom to give to these women in my group! I had two! After praying we talked and always ended up on important topics!

It was AMAZING to me how God worked! One of the women in my group was, uh, I will just say unique and had a different way of thinking! She was certainly led astray at some point in her life! It was amazing the conversations in the car with my fellow leaders. It was always what I needed to hear to defend the truth to this lady! God used them to speak to me so I could speak to her! If He can use me - He can use Anybody ;)

As always the last day was very emotional. We had 7 ladies in all!

I Pray God works in them to change their lives and to change the lives around them! That they would get on the right path!

I have recently read the book - Same kind of different as Me! It completely reminded me of these women in jail! Please read this! I believe it will change your view point on the subject matter if you have a negative one! Thankfully, I have never had issues with people of a different color, homelessness or people in jail! If you don't, this book will still touch your heart!
I believe all people - no matter the condition - just need love and to have someone share with the Truth about our Lord and Savior! Amen ;)

SPOILED

This blog post is not a complaining one! Don't want it to be confused! It is more of a realization of how spoiled I am and probably of how spoiled we ALL are!

We all live a certain way everyday and take it for granted. The little things in our lives tend to be BIG things when we do not have it!

A couple of weeks ago we moved into our Lil Love Nest - The HomeShop!
The above is not an updated one...will get to that soon!

It is basically a 2 car Garage Shop with around 550 sq feet of space!

We have a small bath, tiny Kitchen/dining combo, living area and two very small teeny tiny bedrooms!

To be Completely Honest with you - I LOVE IT!!!!!! There are a few inconveniences and it is very cozy but it works and it's Temporary! Oh and it's PAID for ;)!

On the other side - It has shown me of how spoiled I am!

No Garage - my Biggy! In the mornings my car has dew, it's cold and just does not have the convenience of a garage! I have always thought people were strange that piled up their garage with junk and left their cars outside!

No Driveway - Now this is being fixed TODAY! - YEA! But it has been a complete mess with all this rain! Having to wear rubber boots to walk down our LONG driveway because our cars would get STUCK in the mud!

No dishwasher - this is self explanatory! I love dishwashers!

PLUS....... Privacy, Fireplace, decorating for Christmas....etc etc!

Let's just say it is an Adventure we will always remember and I am thankful for that!
This will make for some Good Scrapbooking ;)

No Control

It is hard to basically watch someone get run over!

I am watching, it's all too familiar, I reach out to help her and she rejects.

It is even more difficult when you have been run over by the same car and you know the pain that comes after the crash!

I feel a sense of guilt because my words of experience have no affect on changing her mind. I understand the wall that she has built, trying to protect herself and justify what is only the wrong decision to make! I understand the lying, the feeling of being backed into a corner and seeing no way out!

She says she has already asked for forgiveness! Yes God forgives but he will not take away the consequences!

I feel my hands are tied and I want to push her out of the way because in a few hours it will be too late!

I have no control. I know that God is in control and whatever happens, I pray that only good will come out of it!
